What do you use a changing robe for?
A changing robe is usually used to keep you warm and dry while changing clothes, especially after being in the water. Vivida changing robes are ideal for many outdoor activities where you need extra protection from the elements, such as swimming, surfing, hiking, dog walking and camping.
How do you dry off and change inside a changing robe?
- Pull your arms through the sleeves of the robe straight after emerging from the water.
- Then use the towel-like lining to actively dry yourself by patting down your body with the inner material, using the hood of the robe to dry off your hair.
- Zip up the robe to give you some privacy. Be careful not to catch the fabric of the robe in the zip. Vivida robes have two-way zips to let you open the bottom of the robe for extra movement room if you need it.
- Pull your arms inside the body of the zipped up robe - this is why it's important that your robe size is large enough!
- Strip off your wet swim gear and pull your dry clothes on within the privacy and warmth of the robe.
- Top tip: there's a large pouch at the bottom of Vivida robes where you can stash your dry clothes for easier access!
